Gathers by Mhairi Wild

These two images were shot in absolute daylight and given an indoor studio feel using Photoshop techniques. Both images show the textile work of my wife Mhairi Wild. You can view Mhairi's work here at this link. Made Wild

Originally a black & white screenshot captured from a short film by The Avant/Garde Diaries

I used half of the B&W image, folded it over symmetrically.
Colour was then added, zoom radial blur, over multiple layers then rubbed back.

Holsten pils lager was also used in the creation of this picture.

Another image from the Auchmithie Beach shoot, on a damp, grey misty day. Colours as usual are tweaked to my liking.

Saturday, 31 March 2012

This image of Auchmithie Beach was taken on a very grey misty day, almost colourless and without any contrast. I re-invented the colours with a little processing. Click on the image for a larger view.

After being away from 3D modelling for some time, I recently found new inspiration after receiving a book from my daughter entitled 'Altered Images". So I'll probably get into some more creations using this sofware (Daz3D) and images taken with my Canons.
